My Story

I need to turn back time a bit to tell you the reason why I do what I do…

The connection between the mind and body has always intrigued me. Growing up in a vibrant, multicultural family, I was fortunate to experience the rich traditions of various cultures and gain exposure to a diverse group of talented health professionals. Their expertise sparked my passion for understanding health in all its forms. It became clear to me that this was the world I wanted to be part of, and I felt a deep need to explore the interconnectedness of the mind and body.

 

And so, my journey began, one step at a time. I first immersed myself in the study of nutrition, followed by the exploration of psychotherapy. Along the way, I learned that while therapy can be challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding and transformative.

As a nutritionist, I quickly realized I couldn’t address my clients' full needs by focusing on nutrition alone. True health requires a healthy mind, so I pursued a Master’s in Counselling Psychology to integrate both mental and physical well-being. This decision transformed my life.

My passion for mental health grew, inspiring me to help others in meaningful and lasting ways. This journey shaped my ability to offer a balanced approach, supporting my clients' mental and emotional well-being for deeper, more lasting change.

My experiences strengthened my empathy and resilience, fuelling my commitment to understanding others and creating a safe, nurturing space for healing and growth.

I’ve personally experienced the transformative power of psychotherapy, and I deeply understand its life-changing impact. Wherever you are on your journey, I want you to know I’ve been there too.
